In 1971, Stanford University hosted a “prison simulation” experiment soon to become famous for supposedly proving humanity’s inherent evil. To investigate, the VOCA podcast team sat down with a former guard in the Stanford prison experiment to listen to his first hand perspective of this landmark demonstration in social psychology.
